Our council and the role:

Alton Town Council is seeking a Project Manager. At a time of change and challenge in local public services, this role is important and timely because projects are key to how the council will provide services and support the town of Alton and the village of Holybourne. Working in a small professional team and with committed councillors, the post-holder will bring their project and contract management expertise to our growing suite of projects. They will be keen on direct delivery and community relations, as much as on planning, coordinating and reporting. They will be part of a supportive team that is focused on results for the community and value-for-money. They may or may not have local government experience but will be comfortable with high standards of probity and accountability.
