Hythe & Dibden Parish Council Offices which are centrally located in Hythe, adjacent to Southampton water in the New Forest

Salary:

Annual salary: £38,220 – £40,777 (SCP 27–30)

Hours:

37 per week  Monday- Friday.  Some evening and weekend working for which toil will be compensated.

Hythe and Dibden Parish Council serves a diverse and active community, managing a range of local facilities, open spaces and community assets. The Council is committed to maintaining and improving its environment and delivering high quality services to residents.

Duties will include:

This is an exciting position within the Council’s management team combining day to day operational oversight with the delivery of a programme of projects including building refurbishment and community infrastructure improvements. You will lead projects from inception to completion, managing contractors and budgets, oversee compliance and manage a small operational team

    The ideal candidate will have/be:

    • Effective communication
    • Experience in Microsoft Office
    • Self-motivated
    • Proven record of managing projects
    • The ability to manage a small team
    • Up to date knowledge of Health& Safety at work requirements
