Location:

Home based but you will need to attend allotment sites for working group meetings and inspections.

Salary:

Hourly rate £12.85.  Home working allowance.

Hours:

4 hours per week and are flexible.

Our council and the role:

Allbrook is a small parish nestled in the heart of south Hampshire. It has close links to the M3 motorway and the nearest town is Eastleigh.

The Parish Council was formed in 2010 and is comprised of 8 Parish Councillors who meet on the 3rd Tuesday each month (excluding August).

Allbrook has 2 allotment sites, details of these are on the website https://allbrook-pc.gov.uk/allotments/

Duties will include:

  • Allotment management.
  • Allotment administration.
  • Manage annual invoicing
  • Maintain plot register and invoice register.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Essential: Strong Administrative skills, IT literate in use of Microsoft 365, to include Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as with the council and allotment working group. Good communication skills
